As we fully emerge in fall, it’s time to get our homes in order! My favorite way to get in sync with the season is to update décor. A centerpiece is the perfect way to update your space on a budget, because it can be utilized in multiple areas of your home.
Floral centerpieces are my go-to, and to stay bougie on a budget, I almost always use faux flowers. This way, my centerpieces will last all season long and can be stored and reused for years to come! Hobby Lobby frequently has sales on their florals, and I pieced together a fall-themed bouquet for $30. My mom loves sunflowers, and since they are seasonally appropriate, they were a must for this arrangement! Burgundy orchids gave the bouquet some autumnal warmth, and sprigs of greenery added the finishing touch.
Now that we’ve gotten the breakdown, I’m going to show you all 3 ways to style the same fall floral arrangement for maximum versatility and budget-friendliness.
Style 1- Timeless and Traditional
A vase (do ya’ll say “vayse” or “vahze”?) is a classic and simple way to display a floral arrangement. This beige beauty was less than $10 at Walmart, and perfectly matched the living room décor.
Style 2- Farmer’s Market Fresh
If you want your arrangement to look and feel like you’ve just picked the flowers from the market, this is the way to go. The woven tobacco basket was only $10 at Target, and I picked up the kraft paper and burlap ribbon from Dollar Tree. I simply wrapped the stems in paper, adorned the base of the arrangement with a pretty bow, and placed it in the basket! It doesn’t get easier than that!
Style 3- Pumpkin Blossom
The last style is by far my favorite. This Pinterest-worthy centerpiece is breathtaking, but surprisingly simple to make! I found the perfect pumpkin, cut a hole in the top, and cleaned out the insides. I then spray painted my pumpkin to match my color scheme (a step that could’ve been avoided if only I could’ve found a white pumpkin). Lastly, I placed an empty oatmeal container inside of the pumpkin to hold the arrangement. I really loved the burlap bow from the last style, so I incorporated it into this one too!
There you have it! One arrangement, three ways. These simple variations will keep your centerpieces interesting and your budget intact.
Which one will you try first? Let me know below!
